Habtamu Fikadu Aga’s Danche Site is a beautifully expressive washed Ethiopian coffee from Gedeb in the Gedio zone, grown at 2,100 meters in one of the country’s most revered highland landscapes. Sourced from registered outgrower farmers and processed with exceptional care, the coffee is made from carefully sorted red cherry, then floated, pulped, fermented, washed, and dried slowly on raised beds to preserve its clarity and structure. The result is a coffee defined by elegance and precision, with the lifted florals, sparkling acidity, and tea-like refinement that have made coffees from Gedeb so beloved. Beyond the cup, this lot also reflects a broader commitment to quality and stewardship, with ongoing work around farmer training, organic farm practices, shade-tree planting, worker safety, and support for nearby schools and roads.
