Danche is a sparkling washed offering tinged with notes of fresh berries and a subtle floral dry fragrance. The brew is delicate and sweet with notes of blueberry, vanilla, lavender, and clementine. 

Coffees from Gedeb, in the southeast corner of the Gedeo Zone, have historically been aggregated with coffees from Yirgacheffe. However, coffees from Gedeb have a flavor profile utterly unique to their specific terroir. Located in the Gedeo zone of the Gedeb district, Worka Danche is one of the finest coffee producing areas within the famous Gedeb woreda. Known for its densely-layered, semi-forested vegetation and plethora of shade trees for healthy coffee production; Danche is a great example of coffee growing ecology.  A new wet mill was constructed in 2019 in the small hamlet of Chelbesa within the Danche Village.
