A sweet and citrusy offering from the Shakiso woreda of Guji, Wesi delivers a balance of fresh melon, rose water, lychee, and tangerine.
Wesi is a newer smaller processing site operating under the umbrella of the larger family-owned Kayon Mountain estate in the Shakiso woreda of the Guji zone. Producers in Ethiopia’s southern region of Guji mostly grow their coffee in the lush surrounding; under the shade of indigenous trees like Cordia Africana, Acacia, and Albizzia. This site is only a few years old, and is processing both washed and naturally processed coffees. This is one of their fully washed, wet processed lots.
